How Does It Work

Ground Breaking In – Motion Technology!

This 810 Gold Standard Soprano Lite incorporates a SHR or in motion technology, ensuring safe and comfortable hair removal. Rather than exposing hair follicles to a single high energy pulse which can cause trauma to the skin, SHR works by gradually heating the dermis to a temperature that effectively damages the hair follicles while avoiding injury to the surrounding tissue. This sweeping In-motion technique of moving the applicator repeatedly over the treatment area ensures full coverage while ICETM tech cools the skin surface- preventing superficial burns and allowing for virtually painless yet highly effective hair removal.

Ideal Candidate For Laser Hair Reduction

With the advent of this new technology, those who were once considered poor candidates for laser hair such as African American, Darker Skin and tanned skin can now receive advanced laser hair removal treatments AND achieve outstanding results! The only non candidates would be those with grey and/or light blonde hair.

Is Laser Hair Reduction Safe

There are not any known long- term health risks associated with the procedure. A few side effects can appear after laser hair reduction which are minor and temporary. The skin may mildly tingle or feel tender and may even swell slightly which will probably subside within an hour.

How To Prepare For Treatments

During your sessions you will shave the area to be treated as short as you can prior to your treatment. You must be off of most all antibiotics 7 days prior to your treatment and any photosensitive medications including over the counter for 3 days prior to your treatment. You will need to discontinue plucking, waxing, and electrolysis 1 month prior, as we need the root of the hair follicle intact in order to kill it.

How Many Sessions Will I Need

Optimal results are usually achieved through a series of 6-8 treatments on average spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart depending on the area. However, this number can vary based on certain patient factors such as skin type, hair texture, and hormones.

Downtime & Aftercare Recovery

After each session, the dead hair will grow out and fall out. This generally takes around 3 weeks on average. When the new hair follicle grows in, you will see a change in the texture as the new hair follicle becomes thinner after each treatment. There is no downtime except a little heat retention or redness that will probably subside within an hour. You may continue to shave if you want throughout your sessions.
