what to expect from dermaplaning
Dermaplaning procedures are typically completed on an outpatient basis in our office. After cleaning the skin, the treatment will begin with a careful scraping of the surface of the skin with a blade. The technician will make several passes over different parts of the skin until the face has been entirely treated. The treatment time will vary, depending on whether part of or the full face is being addressed. At a consultation beforehand, Dr. Awa and her staff will explain the process of dermaplaning to you.
