What is Our Laser Skin Resurfacing Technique?
Before you have a more intense or deeper laser resurfacing session, you may be given a retinoid cream for 2 – 3 weeks before your laser appointment. The retinoid helps prep the skin for better results. Medication may be suggested prior to the treatment to help lessen any sensation so you can relax throughout your appointment. If your skin only needs mild correction, a topical anesthetic will be applied to numb treated areas of the face. For the full complexion or deeper laser procedures, some kind of sedation may be required. During the procedure, you will relax in our treatment chair while the FemiLift laser glides over the skin, precisely targeting the specific areas for improvement. You may feel the heat of the laser, followed by cold air from the system's built-in cooling device. The laser energy works to remove dead and damaged skin cells while also prompting natural collagen production.
